CEO’S MESSAGE
Tansi,
Welcome to NGCI! I would first like to acknowledge our creator for giving us another beautiful day to celebrate our gift of life. With the recent impacts of COVID19 this has created great uncertainty for us all. However, we must strive to move forward in the best interests of our well-being and communities.
I’ve recently transitioned into the role as President & CEO as of April 1, 2020. Yes, it is a very interesting time of transition! I intend to bring our company through this huge ordeal by prioritizing the safety and comfort of our customers and employees as we closely monitor and respond to immediate circumstances worldwide.
NGCI is governed by the Board of Directors who lead the way through our Vision, Mission and Core Values. Our corporate culture is grounded by our nehiyawewin values and a strong sense of community, centered around people and relationships.
Our underlying mandate is to capture economic leakage dollars by revitalizing current businesses, create new business developments and drive employment, as we strongly believe these are essential for positive social, cultural, and economic change.
I look forward to working toward achieving continuous business improvements and innovation through a business lens. We achieve positive results when positive TEAMWORK is practiced.
Feel free to engage in our business services and developments by browsing our website, email, telephone or social media!
Ekosi,
Maureen Ward-Caisse, B.Com. MBA
