Happy New Year to everyone!

2025 has been quite the year for Neyaskweyahk Group of Companies Inc. Neyaskweyahk Group of company  announce the closing of two of our food industry companies Taco Time and Pemiciso Cafe. The decision was difficult but necessary. NGCI would like to thank everyone (staff and customers) for your support and service. So, what’s next? We will be relocating Pihtwahew Gift Shop to Fas Gas site in the spring of 2026.

We also would like to share great news for Neyaskweyahk Group of Companies Inc. (NGCI) / Ermineskin Cree Nation.  We have received AUC Approval for a 112 MW Kâpîsimotêt Solar Project.

Project Overview

• 112-MW solar power plant with 30.3-MW / 121.4-MWh battery energy storage system (BESS)
• Includes the Kâpîsimotêt 1058S substation
• Location: Ermineskin Cree Nation Reserve No. 138, near Maskwacis, AB
• Developer: NGCI, wholly owned by Ermineskin Cree Nation
